Details: Classes are taught by certified experienced commercial beekeepers. You will learn about: the history of bees, anatomy of the bee, diseases and pests,
hive equipment, byproducts, and so much more. Prepares you for SC/NC state certifications if you wish to take it. Opportunity to volunteer and work bees with us. Free 40 page beekeeping booklet. Hands on portion!! *Hands on portion - bring your own protective clothing (we have some you can buy if not)

Queen Rearing and Queen breeding April 2025
Details: Learn from the experts on how to make queens. This class is geared towards beekeepers who have been keeping bees at least a couple of years, but we do welcome all, but will be teaching at a higher level. Come and learn our secrets of the trade. This is a very small class that is taught both by presentation and hands on in the hive. Bring your queen raising questions to the class.
